Tonight (Friday, April 14) Gorillaz will be performing on the main stage at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. They are putting on a show to showcase their newest album called Cracker Island. During their live performance, everyone can enjoy classic hits like “Feel Good Inc” featuring De La Soul, “Cracker Island” with Thundercat, “Hollywood” with Jamie Principle, “Momentary Bliss” with Slowthai and finally, “Dirty Harry” with Bootie Brown. Last year, Billie Eilish had her very first show as a headliner at Coachella and she performed a song called “Getting Older” with help from Albarn. They also sang Gorillaz’s hit song “Feel Good Inc.” with help from De La Soul’s Posdnuos.
Eilish was really amazed when Albarn stepped onto the stage with her, saying that it’s one of the craziest experiences she ever had. She explained that he completely changed her idea of music, art and creation in general since she was only 6 years old listening to his band ‘The Good, The Bad and The Queen’, as well as creating revolutionary albums with Blur and Gorillaz. In short, she believes he is an absolute genius!
