Yesterday (April 15), Charli XCX gave her first-ever performance at Coachella. She had a special guest, Troye Sivan, joining her on the stage to perform their hit song named “1999”. In addition, the audience got to hear her remix of Caroline Polachek’s song called “Welcome to My Island” for the very first time ever. Plus, Ms.Polachek was really happy about this surprise performance!
Charli released her album Crash last year and since then has done lots of exciting things. She dropped an extended version of the same album, worked with a fashion brand called Rodarte on a campaign, performed virtually in the popular game Roblox, teamed up with legendary DJ Tiësto for music-making, made remixes of singer Caroline Polachek’s songs alongside The 1975’s drummer, and also wrote some songs for a new pop music movie by A24 named Mother Mary.
