Clairo has just released a new single, called “For Now”. All of the money she makes from this song will go towards two organizations: For the Gworls and Everytown for Gun Safety. Listen to it on her Bandcamp page now!
The Gworls is a Black organization that organizes parties to help raise money for Black transgender people. This money can go towards helping them with rent, gender-affirming surgeries, medical visits, and even travel expenses. Another company called Everytown for Gun Safety has been trying to reduce gun violence by doing different campaigns. Lastly, NewSound’s 2019 profile on Clairo entitled “Clairo Has Something to Prove” should be looked at as well.
