The acclaimed duo, The Chemical Brothers, have officially announced the release of their forthcoming album, titled For That Beautiful Feeling. Scheduled to hit the airwaves on September 8, the album boasts tracks like “No Reason,” a fresh remix of “The Darkness That You Fear,” and “Live Again.” Today, the pair has released the music video for their collaboration with Halo Maud on the track “Live Again.” The visual project was steered by the band’s recurrent collaborators, Dom & Nic. You can view it below.

“Having the opportunity to work with The Chemical Brothers is a golden opportunity for any video director. We feel privileged to continuously produce films with them over the years,” expressed Dom & Nic in a press release. “The duo consistently brings smashing tracks that call for videos that not only do justice to the music but ideally enhance the overall experience. ‘Live Again’ marks our 10th collaboration… the hazy, distorted analog sounds and dreamy lyrics suggested an intoxicating visual journey following a character entwined in a cycle of death and rebirth.”

The directors further elaborated:

The concept motivated us to employ the innovative Arri XR virtual production stage and its pioneering technology in a novel way. This concept could not have been actualized using traditional filmmaking methods. We crafted virtual CGI worlds and captured long uninterrupted camera shots, with no edits, smoothly transitioning between these distinct worlds with our protagonist. Throughout the making and editing process of the video, we were blessed with the support of an extraordinarily talented team of companies and individuals who helped us bring this project to fruition because of their admiration for working with The Chemical Brothers. Without their skills, dedication, and generosity, a film of this nature would never transition from conception to the screen.

For That Beautiful Feeling, the successor to their 2019’s No Geography, features a song with Beck titled “Skipping Like a Stone.” The Chemical Brothers also plan to publish a new book detailing their history, set for release in October.
