Come Friday, October 13th, the big screens across the U.S. will light up with Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert film. The sneak peeks are available for your viewing pleasure below. AMC is ensuring Swifties can feast their eyes on the spectacle with at least four screenings a day from Thursday to Sunday during the opening week. Not to be left out, Canada and Mexico will also be hosting screenings.
In her own words on social platforms, Swift couldn’t hold back her excitement: “The Eras Tour is the most electrifying and significant journey I’ve embarked on to date. I’m thrilled to announce it’s making its cinematic debut starting October 13th. And guess what? Tickets are already up for grabs at taylor.lnk.to/TSTheErasTourFilm. Dress up in your Eras best, bring your friendship bracelets, and warm up those vocal cords for some mid-movie serenades! And don’t forget: 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (If you know, you know).” That LGB in the end? That’s Taylor shorthand for her famous catchphrase, “1, 2, 3, let’s go, bitch!” The concert film’s helm is in the capable hands of director Sam Wrench, also known for his recent work on Billie Eilish’s Live at the O2.
Earlier this month, Swift gave us a taste of her re-imagined album, Reputation (Taylor’s Version), with a revitalized “Look What You Made Me Do,” featured in a teaser for the upcoming TV series Wilderness. The Eras Tour itself has also expanded its calendar with additional North American dates, and Swift unveiled a re-recorded edition of her album Speak Now. And keep your eyes peeled, folks. Taylor’s next re-recording, this time of her album 1989, is set to drop on October 27, a mere two weeks after the concert film hits the theaters.
And there you have it! Just when you thought October couldn’t get any more Swift-tacular, it does. So mark your calendars, charge up your phone batteries for inevitable social media check-ins, and ready your vocal cords. It’s going to be a Swift kind of month.
