The Pretenders have unveiled their plans for a U.S. tour in the fall. They will take the stage as headliners in nine shows, all in support of their forthcoming album, “Relentless.” The tour kicks off with a concert at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on August 16. Additionally, the Pretenders are set to perform as the opening act at numerous Guns N’ Roses’ stadium tour gigs throughout the fall season. The full schedule can be found below.
“Relentless,” the first new album from Chrissie Hynde and her team in three years, will be released on September 15 by Rhino Records. This launch signifies the Pretenders’ comeback to Warner Music Group after an absence of over two decades. So far, the group has released two singles from the album – “Let the Sun Come In” and “I Think About You Daily,” the latter featuring Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead.
